To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. In addition, to be a good fit for the Senior FP&A Analyst opportunity, you will have:
  • 5+ years in a corporate accounting or finance role, preferably in manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated success in financial modeling and analysis
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting, long-term strategic planning and resource allocation processes
  • Experience creating reports for C-suite leaders and board members, and a proven understanding of what those audiences want and need
  • A solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Superior analytical skills, including the ability to consolidate and manipulate data from multiple systems
  • Strong computer proficiency, including:
    • A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with consolidation and reporting applications
    • Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools
  • An MBA or other graduate degree in a finance-related field is preferred

Currently, the team works remotely most of the time, although you may come into the office on occasion. As an essential business, we follow appropriate practices to promote the health and safety of all employees. We are waiting for additional information before finalizing our return-to-work policy.

Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, you will be an integral part of the finance and accounting team. You'll assist with the preparation of internal/external financial reports, Board of Directors materials, and monthly financial analysis materials, and also provide ad hoc analysis for the organization. You may prepare reports for a variety of users, but your primary audience will be C-suite executives, members of the Board of Directors and investment analysts.

More specifically, you will:
  • Help consolidate and analyze month-end and quarter-end P&L, balance sheet and FCF distribution and forecast consolidation.
  • Work with business operations, and other key stakeholders to generate requested reporting output.
  • Help drive key insights and analytics.
  • Execute value-added analysis and provide decision support for special projects and initiatives.
  • Execute continuous financial process improvement.
  • Assist in developing finance and business presentations and related supporting materials.
  • Assist in preparing Board of Director reporting packages.
  • Support the Manager of FP&A in leading the annual budgeting process.
  • Assist in implementation of new/improved financial analytics package and systems.
