To meet the basic qualification for this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and experience with trucks, truck bodies and/or truck accessories. In addition, to be a good fit for the Inside Sales and Support Representative opportunity, you will have:
  • 1-3 years’ of sales, service or similar trucking industry experience, including knowledge of Class 3 / Class 6 trucks and related truck equipment  Quick question for you - click here
  • A technical degree or an associate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills; sales and/or sales support experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including:
    • MS Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills (e.g. formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
    • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
    • CRM experience, ideally Salesforce, preferred
  • Solid sales aptitude including the ability to:
    • Support the Outside Sales team as needed
    • Build rapport with customers (i.e. our distributor network and local retail accounts)
    • Make warm and cold calls; cold calling experience is a plus
    • Close business

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will join a small sales and support team responsible for enhancing the efforts of Outside Sales to help grow business and the company. You, along with three other team members, will serve as a primary point of contact for the customer base. You will provide outstanding internal and external service by working directly with Sales Representatives, answering incoming calls and emails, and managing tasks including quote requests, status updates, pricing and availability, stock checks, parts and warranty follow-up, and more. Additionally, you will work to maintain and expand a strong existing book of business by prospecting (cold calling), managing and closing new business. Throughout your interactions, you'll effectively communicate back to the customer and sales representatives.

  • Serving as a professional representative of the company selling DuraMag Truck Bodies and Magnum Truck Accessories
  • Writing up sales orders with appropriate specs and options based on the truck chassis
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates
