To be a good fit for the Production Supervisor opportunity, you will have:
  • A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred 
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in production environments

Your responsibilities will fall into six main areas. In the area of communication, you will:
  • Conduct group meetings
  • Train or supervise the training of new employees
  • Administer policies and procedures

With regard to quality, you will:
  • Develop, communicate, and enforce quality standards
  • Ensure quality of materials and workmanship
  • Monitor, report, and correct variation beyond standards in any activity
In the area of materials, you will:
  • Ensure the efficient allocation of materials
  • Monitor scrap for undue waste
  • Prepare reject tags for buyers
  • Assist in quarterly inventory
  • Maintain tool inventory
Regarding Continuous Improvement, you will
  • Actively lead and coach those you supervise

With regard to staffing, you will:
  • Assume responsibility for personnel issues such as hiring, discipline, transfers, promotions, and terminations
